Palm Bay is a sweet cooler perfect for gatherings and celebrations alike.
Problem:
During the mandatory 2020 quarantines, there were no celebrations, no gatherings, and even worse, many people were forced to spend milestones like their birthdays without the people they love.
Solution:
We gave people the chance to celebrate from afar with their friends — with a #PalmBirthdaySurprise.

Launch Post
We kicked off the campaign on social with a post inviting people to tag their friends with upcoming birthdays
for a chance to win a birthday surprise from Palm Bay.

The campaign was so successful, the brand decided to extend it into the holiday season, updating the hashtag to #PalmHolidays. We created themed merchandise to correspond with themes each month.
Delivering the #PalmBirthdaySurprise
After receiving significant engagement on a post with a gift card reward, some restrictions were lifted and we successfully delivered the first curated gift box of the campaign.
Then we went for a third and fourth round, gifting winners a custom Palm Bay cooler, then a curated gift set for a cozy night in.
The #PalmBirthdaySurprise campaign surpassed our original entry goals by 230% and earned Palm Bay over 5000 new followers on social.
During a time when everyone was forced to isolate, Palm Bay helped bring friends together from afar and cemented itself as a drink for every kind of celebration.
